Your profile is only visible to full members. It will not appear in any internet searches.
You can pick and choose which sections of your profile are visible to members who are either your friends, or not your friends.
For example, you might like to keep the 'Information for those open to romance' section to be only visible to people on your friends list.
The settings are under Privacy Settings. Don't forget the main purpose of the site, and why you are here, though.
